The candidate will be responsible for financial accounting, taxation, audits, compliance, budgeting, and financial reporting while supporting business decision-making and ensuring strong financial controls.

Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai
Experience Required: 1 - 2 minimum Years post CA qualification
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)

Role Overview: 

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant for the role of Deputy Manager / Manager – Accounts. The candidate will be responsible for financial accounting, taxation, audits, compliance, budgeting, and financial reporting while supporting business decision-making and ensuring strong financial controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Accounting & Reporting
  1. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  2. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / AS)
  3. Manage general ledger activities, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing
  4. Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management
  • Taxation & Compliance
  1. Handle direct and indirect taxation including Income Tax and GST
  2. Ensure timely filing of returns, assessments, and responses to notices
  3. Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and regulatory authorities
  4. Stay updated with changes in taxation laws and compliance requirements
  • Audit & Internal Controls
  1. Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits
  2. Prepare audit schedules and resolve audit observations efficiently
  3. Ensure effective internal controls and risk mitigation processes
  4. Support process improvements and financial system enhancements
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
  1. Prepare annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts
  2. Monitor variances and recommend corrective actions
  3. Support cash flow planning and working capital management
  • Stakeholder & Team Coordination
  1. Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders
  2. Mentor and guide junior finance/accounting team members
  3. Support leadership with financial analysis and strategic decision-making
     
  • Required Skills & Competencies
  1. Strong understanding of accounting standards and taxation laws
  2. Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, NetSuite, etc.
  3. Advanced MS Excel and financial modelling skills
  4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilitiesAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
     

Working Days: Monday to Saturday (2nd and 4th Saturday fixed off)
